We love it here. We found Hoadly Playroom after having some serious issues with big corporate chain. My children love it here, no more tears in the morning for them or me. I can call and talk to my children when ever I want. When I call I hear kids playing and laughing in the background so i know things have to be good if a child is laughing a good ole belly laugh. |

I don't know what the other poster is talking about. I have been here for over 2+ years and love it. she has taken care of our son as if he was her own. When he is not at her place he will ask for her. Which gives us comfort that he must be loved and cared for if he is wanting her even on the weekends. So parents don't let one bad review change your mind as Hoadly Playroom is a wonderful place and we love it and recommend it to all. |

This daycare is not what it claims to be. I took my child there briefly before removing him. My child was always crying, from the moment I left to the moment I got thier to pick him up. Food is not provided, and from the diaper rash my child had, I would say that diaper changing is rare as well. The food I provided for my child was rarely given to him. I was referred by another parent who was pleased with this daycare, but we were not pleased at all. Not really sure how she got licensed. |

To find an excellent daycare is not an easy task! We are blessed to have found Hoadly Playroom.HP is the best small sized, licensed daycare in the Woodbridge, Dale City, and Manassas area. Mrs. Khan and her family are warm, friendly, kind, considerate and always willing to do that little bit extra.I can recall when I ran out of gas and stuck on 95 in the rush-hour traffic, I called Yasmeen to let her know that I'd be very late to pick up my child, she actually brought a canister of gas to save the day and certainly did not enforce the late fees knowing the dilemma I was in!! Also when there was snow and ice on her driveway, her husband realizing it was slippery and dangerous took the babyseat from me and put it in the car. The daycare facilities are excellent, indoors and the outdoor playing area. It is full of educational toys, equipment, books and other resources that would give your child a head start educationally. See it yourself and talk with the current parents. You'll love it! |

Mrs Yasmeen treats us like family. She had us over for Easter dinner, and she doesn't even celebrate it. The kids love being there and always have smiles on thier faces. My child gets the love and attention she needs and deserves. We are so greatful we found her. |

In my opinion Yasmeen is amazing. My daughter has only been with her for a short time but in that time I have noticed significant, positive changes in my daughter. My daughter is 12 wks old and the first home daycare I took her took was terrible. They overfed her, didn’t burp her causing her to spit up a great deal-she was labeled a “bad baby!" She was always tense or crying when I picked her up. I moved her to Yasmeen’s and she is giggling and cooing. When I pick her up she is being loved or cuddled by Yasmeen or one of her helpers. There are moms and kids hanging out, visiting or sharing mom “stuff.” Best of all, my daughter has been able to relax and be a child again. In one week of working with Yasmeen we have made strides in reducing the formula intake she became accustomed to and the spit up problem is practically nonexistent. Life is tough enough you should at least be able to enjoy being a kid: Yasmeen gives that to each of her kids. This woman is genuine and compassionate. |

Amazing. My daughter absolutly loves her. I would not take her anywhere else. Plus it doesn't hurt that she's cheaper than most of the center's in the area. |

My granddaughter has been going to Hoadly playroom for some months now. After searching a long time for quality day care, we decided on Hoadly playroom because of the friendly atmoshpere and overall satisfaction with the location. My granddaughter is 2 1/2 years old and comes home singing songs that she has learned at the daycare center and with activities that absolutely have to be hung on the refrigerator or car windows. Pryor to my granddaughter going to Hoadly Playroom, she went to a daycare provider where everyday she was dropped off she began to scream and had awful fits about being left there and now when my daughter does not have to work or go to school she asks her to take her to Ms Yasmins' house anyway. I rated Hoadly playroom a 5 on everything because this is my second time around with daycare providers and I know that good day care is very hard to find. I am certainly glad that we found good daycare for my granddaughter and plan to keep her there as long as possible. |

Before I found HP, my daughter was in a daycare center. It was the worst experience of my life. She came home, with pink eye, more colds than I can count, and the worst was when she caught a pneumonia and had to be put on a breathing treatment. Since she has been with Yasmeen, she has been sick ONCE. And that was after she had gotten of an airplane. My daughter has been at HP since she was 6 months old. She is now 14 months old. You do the math. In 8 months, she has been sick ONCE!!! Yasmeen and her helpers are amazing. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I add an additional hour onto my commute just so my daughter can stay with Yameen. Please believe that I would not do that if I thought my child wasn't getting the best care possible. And yes, Yasmeen does run errands , but she makes you very aware of that before you enroll. I have much confidence that her assitants can handle any situation. I recommend this provider 150%!!!! |

I was very impressed with Yasmeen, however, she is not there all of the time. I wish I had more confidence in her staff. The language barrier is tough to deal with. I would have liked my child to have a little more interaction and stimulation during the day. I truly believe my child was left in a swing all day. I personally have seen some licensing violations that are "safety" oriented. That scared me. For example: microwaving bottles, not blocking the stairs, no barrier around the space heater, propping bottles etc. The ratios have been violated as well. I would not take my child back to this facility; I would rather quit my job and be broke. It was an unfortunate experience to say the least. I did not like how the older kids had access to the babies. The children are also left behind closed doors and unattended while they sleep. Please re-think this facility… |

I,too, fell for her catch phrases she uses-“we’re all a big, happy family here!” However if you decide to go with H.P.then please be prepared for the following:Your baby will be in a swing or exersaucer ALL DAY.Yasmeen will leave your baby for hours with two helpers whom she will never introduce to you,and they will have no idea where she is,much less who to call if something terrible happened to your child.Accept the fact that you are paying for the only licensed provider to go shopping(Yasmeen admitted to me that she often runs errands during the day).If you ever try to voice your concerns to her,she will be outraged(when I began asking her where she goes during the day,she left a very rude message on my phone, hung up on my husband, then left our stuff on her porch when we told her we were leaving). She will claim that the 4-1 ratio is never broken, but I was usually the first to pick up my girl and SEVERAL times I counted more than 8 kids to the 2 helpers that were left in charge. |

Hi All,We feel quite fortune to have found Hoadly Playroom. The Provider and her helper are great, they get down on kids level and make them feel loved and wanted. Our baby goes there and we couldn't have been more pleased. we read the other comment about the "blow-out" diaper and i had to laugh because our baby does that even when she is home and i assure you it is not from lack of diaper change. if it was a lack of diaper change then there would be rash. to this day our little one has not had a rash or any other baby in her care. so i think the parents are bit mixed up. anyway i highly and i mean highly recommand her and hoadly playroom. we all are like a big family here, so come join us and let's let the kids have a ball. |

I liked this day care. The owner is friendly, considerate and went out of her way when my child was sick. Parents need only supply diapers and related items because the day care has its own cribs and linens. My main concern and reason for leaving this provider was that my child routinely came home in a change of clothes, up to three times a week, on average. The explanation provided, "blow outs". We suspected infrequent changings. Daily reports detailing feedings were inaccurate. Late fees are strictly enforced. Not a bad provider but they were not able to provide the care and attention I felt my child deserved. We pay more now but feel the added expense is worth it. |
